BookSpring Fest is a FREE outdoor festival where families can listen to local heroes and celebrity-type people read aloud and perform.BookSpring Fest: A Read Aloud Celebration is a FREE outdoor activity for the whole family! People will enjoy refreshments and reading-themed carnival games in between performances on our 3 stages. Our 3 stages will host local heroes and celebrity-type people from our community reading aloud their favorite books and performing.
BookSpring is a nonprofit organization that works to build early childhood literacy and our festival encourages the community and families to read aloud together and unite for a great cause so many of us can agree on: getting books into the hands of children who need them.
And, don’t forget to come dressed as your favorite storybook character for the children’s costume contest!
We can’t wait to see you here to kick off a great new future full of passionate young readers!
